{NEW COLLECTION} - Cupcake Cutie!

I've been working for the last month on a really sweet custom order for a little girl's first birthday. The first thing her mom asked was for bright, hot and scrumptious pink combined with an equally fun yellow. Great colors -- happy colors -- and a cute cupcake theme make this a perfect party for girls of all ages. And now it's available in my shop to everyone -- hooray! And seriously, what could be easier and more fun than a simple decorate-your-own cupcake party. No work, mamas! Just put out plain cupcakes, frostings and other goodies like sprinkles, jimmies, crushed oreos and chocolate chips and let the kids go to town!

As with all of my party printable packages, there are loads of files with just about everything you can imagine to decorate and plan a cute birthday party.

One of my favorite pieces are the cupcake toppers and cupcake wraps. I love these wraps! I used my Fiskars "cloud" decorative scissors to cut the top edge so that it gives a circus-like feel.

Photobucket
This package is full of personalized items. The napkin wraps and an 8" centerpiece sign feature your child's monogram, while the cupcake toppers (2" logos), the 4" and 8" centerpiece circles, the water bottle wraps, door sign and favor tags will all feature your child's name.

The banner pieces come without text as shown above and also with "Happy Birthday" and cupcake end pieces. Add a little ribbon and tulle and these make adorable party decorations.

The 4" and 8" circles can be attached to wooden dowels or skewers with hot glue and used in centerpieces, as hanging chandelier decorations or even as party signs in your yard.

With 20 different typeset food labels and a page of blank ones, too, you'll have lots to choose from for your party dessert table or even a cute cupcake bar.

The INVITATION and thank you note set is another favorite of mine from this collection.

Photobucket

And sweet favor tags are perfect for attaching to small trinkets or treats for your guests to take home with them.

Photobucket

Attach the 8.5"x11" door/party sign to some scrapbook paper, add some sweet ribbons and tulle and tack it up just about anywhere for a really quick and adorable party decoration.

So be sure to check out the new CUPCAKE PARTY listing and take advantage of my discounted full party package pricing -- about 35 files for $29.00!

{Customer Party} - Easter Birthday!

Today I'm sharing a few photos a sweet customer sent me of a party that I designed the printables for. Little Ella was celebrating her 6th birthday, and with it being so close to Easter, her mom, Andrea, decided to go with an Easter theme and use my Bunny Birthday collection as a good starting place.

The party was held at Twin Oaks Fun Farm where the kids enjoyed lots of fun activites like riding ponies, picking strawberries, feeding animals, hunting eggs, stuffing bunnies and playing on the farm's huge playground. Can you even imagine how much fun those children had!

And with 65 guests, children and parents alike, Andrea did an amazing job of decorating and organizing all of those activities and even served a full bar-be-que lunch.

Photobucket

Andrea chose cupcakes from a local bakery, Bliss, and used the sweet personalized cupcake toppers from the Bunny Birthday collection to dress them up a bit.

The dessert table also included some cake pops and cookies that Andrea made herself.
I love a DIY girl!

What a beautiful setting!

And the birthday girl.....

Andrea used my napkin wraps from the Bunny Collection to wrap around store-bought bubbles which made a fun and inexpensive prize for the kids. And about her cake pops, Andrea says, "For my first try at cake pops they turned out pretty good and were a big hit."

Photobucket
And that's not all Andrea can do! This smart mom used her Cricut to cut vinyl names which she then used to personalize each of these Dollar Tree Easter buckets.
What a smart idea for an Egg Hunt.

Andrea's mom came in to help, too, making all of the table runners for little Ella's party.
What a great mom!

Andrea says, "We had a wonderful time making some special memories for Ella on her 6th birthday." And from the looks of things, I think everyone there must have had an amazing time, too!

Thanks, Andrea, for letting me share Ella's party! You did a wonderful job!

{ Spring Party Week } - Somewhere Over the Rainbow

When it comes to party tables, and well, with almost everything else, too..... one stunning detail can make all the difference. This bright and colorful rainbow party from Siobahn of Hip Hooray is the perfect example. Just look at this gorgeous tablecloth!

Even at first glance, you know this is going to be a great party. Layer upon layer of colorful ruffles say it all..... we're going to have lots of F-U-N!

Photobucket

This talented party planner designed a special celebration for her daughter Mia's 6th birthday, one that fit her personality perfectly. Siobahn describes her daughter as "a constant whirlwind of colour - from what she chooses to wear to the art she creates and everything in between, there is simply no place for black in her world."

A rainbow theme couldn't have been a better choice. Siobahn says, "Mia celebrated being 6 amidst a cascade of gorgeous colour - fun rainbow ruffles, umbrellas, yellow gumboots, ribbon wands, a surprising cake and a sugar rush of rainbow-inspired treats."

Photobucket

I'm loving the details..... the upside down hanging colorful umbrellas along with the ruffled tableskirt really set the tone. And how fun is that cake? You can find the recipe and a how-to guide at Whisk Kid.

Did you notice the doughnut "rainbows"? So smart!

Photobucket

Those yellow rubber boots are adorable, especially with the umbrellas hanging overhead. And the ribbon wands are quick to make and so much fun for the birthday guests. They make a sweet keepsake for the girls, too.

Colorful striped ribbon tied around clear boxes filled with jelly beans are a terrific take-home favor and tie in so well with the rest of the color filled table. Fondant rainbow cupcakes and pots of chocolate "gold coins" complete the rainbow theme.

For party activities, Siobahn downloaded a sweet coloring page for the girls from Style Me Gorgeous, and included some colorful clays for the girls to mold into fun shapes, too.

Siobahn says, "What I loved most about this playdate is that it felt elaborate without being expensive or stressful to create. I pulled it off with only two days at hand after our camping holiday, including the sewing of the oh-so-ruffley rainbow table skirt."

Be sure to check out Hip Hooray for all the details on this memorable party. I hope it inspires you to throw a gorgeous Rainbow bash for your own little one, or maybe even take some of these ideas and turn it into a Wizard of Oz party. How fun would that be!

And while we're talking rainbows, check out these great rainbow cupcake ideas.....

Family Fun shows us how to make these adorable multi-colored cupcake treats.

And these rainbow cupcakes made from, of all things, Airheads candies. Wow, how smart.
I think I'm about ready to throw a rainbow party!

::Just Baking Party Stuff:: RUGBY ~ Spring bucks vs All Blacks!

First of all, I am not an avid rugby fan.

But when I was asked by one of my customers to create some
Rugby themed party stuff for her son who is turning 7 next month,
I was feeling quite inspired!

She wanted something for a Spring Bucks and All Blacks themed
birthday party and this is what I came up with!

First up, The party circles.
I created the rugby ball images myself.

::PARTY CIRCLES::

I am sure she is going to put the party circles to good use:
Maybe some cupcake toppers?

Or maybe for some candy jar labels?

::INVITATION::

::BIRTHDAY BANNER::

She opted for the DIY version and will be printing everything herself.
I hope she shares all her party details with us after the party!
