Glory also made sure to have some "real food" on hand for the kids before they filled up on sweets. Fruit skewers, a veggie tray, some sub sandwiches for the adults, and peanut butter and jelly for the kids dressed up with some polka dot toothpick flags rounded out the food display.
And what's a child's party without having a craft activity? Glory made a simple craft from red lunch bags (Target), large circles cut in half for the head, and smaller black circles for ladybug spots. She says, "Glue on some eyes, draw antennas and a line down the center and voila.... ladybug puppets!"
