{ Spring Party Week } - Ladybug Party

Today's featured Spring party inspiration comes from Glory Albin of Glorious Treats. This is one talented lady! I have loved every party I've ever had the joy of seeing. She is a master stylist of her gorgeous baked creations and quite a creative party planner, too.

But Glory says that for this Ladybug party for her 4 year old daughter, she wanted to take advantage of some of the wonderful products out there in the marketplace. This would cut down on her time and allow her to have a little more "fun" with her daughter.

Glory made both the cake and the cupcakes and a friend from Sweet Sugar Belle made the adorable mini ladybug cookies. Sweeties by Kim provided the amazing chocolate covered Oreo pops and the macaroons were made by The Macaronner.

Glory also made the little ladybug banner and completed her dessert table with a beautiful reminder of Spring, vases of red tulips.

Glory says, "Party favors were clear boxes from Clearbags.com filled with
a little notebook (Target), a ladybug shaped magnifying glass (Target),
little colored pencils and a ladybug chocolate (World Market).

Glory also made sure to have some "real food" on hand for the kids before they filled up on sweets. Fruit skewers, a veggie tray, some sub sandwiches for the adults, and peanut butter and jelly for the kids dressed up with some polka dot toothpick flags rounded out the food display.

And what's a child's party without having a craft activity? Glory made a simple craft from red lunch bags (Target), large circles cut in half for the head, and smaller black circles for ladybug spots. She says, "Glue on some eyes, draw antennas and a line down the center and voila.... ladybug puppets!"
