Fun with Food for Easter!

There are so many fun ideas for food for Easter!  (I just typed "Easter" as "eater," so punny!)  We rounded up a few of the ones that tickled our fancy!  Bloggers, thanks for being brilliant as usual!

One Charming Party has one of my favorite ideas, because it's so simple!

"Serve a simple salad at your Bunny Party with these tasty Petits Palmiers tucked into the mixed greens to look like bunny ears. A crispy puff pastry cookie, these are available at Trader Joe’s and other grocery stores. Perfect for Easter, food can look cute and taste yummy too."*

*Holiday Snob note:  I think you can find these cookies at Costco!

Creations by Kara made these little bunny tail rolls that my kids would LOVE any time of year, but especially Easter.  In the Denver suburbs there are bunnies abounding, literally almost everywhere.  My kids are obsessed with them and somehow that has translated into loving bunny foods, weird.  You could use frozen dough for this recipe but Kara has a recipe for homemade plus a tutorial on her site!

Living Locurto made these fun little chicks, and has free printables that feature them!

Art of Dessert has the recipe for these surprisingly simple cookies:

Jenni Price Illustration made these adorable pancakes and then let I heart naptime post the tutorial, which is where we saw it!  These kinds of meals always intimidate me, but I have to say that after seeing the tutorial, I think I might try it!

Love from the Oven has made the most adorable use of a cupcake:

House on Ashwell Lane compiled the rest of these adorable treats into a post and gave us permission to use it:

Yesterday on Tuesday made these "itsy bitsy carrot patches" with wafer biscuits and chocolate frosting. She even made those edible carrot treats. She used green gum to make the carrot stems!
Pizzazerie made these adorable bunnies on a stick using pound cake, marshmallows and straws for the stick. I love the bow ties.
These Sweet bird nest cookies are just too adorable to be eaten! It's like a work of art! She used roasted coconut for the nest and has a detailed tutorial on her blog "The Sweet Adventures of Sugar Belle" on how to make these cookies!
A Pizza is made of candy, chocolate and peanut butter and topped with pastel colored m&m's would be perfect as an Easter desert for kids! Let the kids have fun smashing the choclates! This one is by French Knots.
Do not forget about the drinks. The Autocrat came up with this idea of peeps on a straw! Sweet and Simple! I love it!

Hope one of these treats inspires you!  We'd love to hear what you make for Easter!
