Now on to our "adult's only" weekend....
Jonathan and I couldn't wait to spend a little time all alone together this weekend. When we found out the kids would be in Decatur for a few days, we opted to try something a little new. Instead of the normal Birmingham or Atlanta, we decided to give Huntsville a try. It's only about 40 minutes from Decatur and I've been reading alot recently about the Bridgestreet shopping center there. It was fantastic..... great restaurants..... great Westin hotel.... lots and lots of shopping. It was sooooo nice to do what we wanted when we wanted. And Saturday night we met Jonathan's sister Donna and her fiancee Pierre for dinner -- they had just flown in from New York and happened to be in Huntsville at the same time. We had a wonderful meal and had a chance to finally celebrate their recent engagement.
