Chived Salmon Spread

I’m one of those people who could live off of seafood and pasta. Filet mignon does nothing for me – but mention lobster or crab meat and I’ll start to salivate like a Pavlov dog {which by the way is one of the few things I remember about my college education; not that I can drool like a dog but that I can actually remember the name of a Russian scientist}. Last weekend we spent a lovely evening with some friends celebrating our neighbor’s 50th birthday. The party was potluck style so at the last minute {because that’s the way we roll} we {and when I say “we” I mean the hubby} feverishly threw together this yummy dip recipe I remembered grabbing from one of those sample tables at our local Sam’s club. The recipe is courtesy of Stacy’s Pita Chips. If you’re a salmon fan you’ll enjoy this light spread and you’ll be even more smitten when you see how easy it is to throw together!

Recipe

2 (6 oz.) cans of Canned Salmon
2 Tbsp. Garlic & Herb Seasoning Blend
1 cup of sour crème
1 cup of light mayonnaise
2 Tbsp. chives
Drain salmon and combine remaining ingredients.  Chill several hours to blend flavors. Serve dip with pita chips, pretzels, crackers, or whatever your heart desires!

What is your favorite type of dip to munch on?
