Friday's Dose of Delight {No.1}

No, I didn't have one, two, many drinks last night. I am well aware it is Saturday and not Friday. I'm delighted about that! For those of you who aren't fellow bloggers, Google's Blogger was down on Thursday and Friday. Hence why this Friday feature is coming out over the weekend. In addition, I've also decided to change "Friday's Delightful Dozen" into "Friday's Dose of Delight." I know, I know, I am giving up after only doing the "Delightful Dozen" for 2 Fridays. What a wimp! Trust me, I have a whole folder of fun ideas, recipes, and blogs that I'd like to share but my goal here is to make life a little easier on me. If that is even possible! I decided that highlighting two of my faves was much less time consuming then editing and posting a dozen. So without further adieu, I introduce to you two things I've come across this week that are sure to inspire or brighten your day! Hope y'all have a wonderful weekend {I've always wanted to talk like a Texan}!

Front Door Entry from
In Between Laundry

Ever since I laid eyes on Erin's entry makeover I have been wandering around my house searching for the perfect wall space in which I can pull off her framed wall stenciling. Two problems with that: 1) walking and thinking at the same time may cause you to walk into walls and 2) I may have been blessed with a few creative talents but stenciling is not one of them.  It’s not a pretty picture when stencils and I get together. So in the mean time, I will just continue to admire Erin’s work.  Seriously, from the paint color, to the rug, I love everything about this makeover! Read more about it here.

Twisted Cheese Straws from
Under the Table and Dreaming

Although I haven’t been there in years, I love those cheddar biscuits you can get from Red Lobster.  When Stephanie posted this cheese straw recipe I instantly added it to my cooking to-do list.  Kind of funny, considering The Negotiator does all the cooking.  So eventually I will move this onto his to-do list. I imagine these cheese straws would taste delicious along side a big bowl of pasta! You can find the recipe here.

I love finding new ideas! Do you have anything delightful you came across this week? New shops? Bargains? Crafts? Please share!
